As part of the conference cycle organized by the Cité Internationale Universitaire of Paris (CIUP) on the theme "Women in the World", the Monegasque Cooperation for Development and its partner the African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF Flying Doctors) have joined the Monaco Foundation - CIUP, with the support of the Monaco Embassy in France, to organize the symposium: "To be born or not to be: Monaco committed to women in the world" , March 9th, 2017.

Through numerous testimonies, films and photos, the participants were able to learn a little more about the Principality of Monaco's action in favor of development aid, and in particular for women, as well as programs led by AMREF, in particular the PRECIS program, which supports the training of midwives in Africa to reduce maternal, neonatal and infant mortality and ensure future generations.

In the aftermath of the International Women's Day on March 8th, this beautiful moment of emotion and sharing took place around the concrete actions that are carried out in favor of the women of the world.
