On September 14th, 2016, Mrs Catherine Pastor, President of the Monegasque Association for Research on Alzheimer's Disease (AMPA), and her team, presented the program and the actions of their association to the Paris public, in the reception room of the Chancellery. The audience, composed of journalists, disease specialists and diplomats (including the Ambassador of Egypt and the Malta Chargée d'Affaires) was particularly attentive and committed.

AMPA was created in 1990 by the joint initiative of Mr. Michel Pastor and Dr. Michel-Yves Mourou. This association is increasing its activities in the Principality of Monaco and internationally to support research, encourage scientific meetings, better understand the disease and its consequences, raise awareness among the general public and help people with Alzheimer's disease as well as their families.
