"Between earth and sky: Poetic crossed views on Mongolia" took place on Monday, February 6th, 2017 at the Monaco Foundation at the Cité Internationale Universitaire in Paris.

Nearly 100 people, including the Ambassadors of Monaco and Mongolia and diplomats from many embassies, were present to listen to the poems - in Mongolian and French - of Mr. Gombojav MEND-OOYO, Mongolian poet, President of the Academy of Mongolian culture and poetry, and Ms Sabine PEGLION, poet from Monaco, winner of the 2016 Leopold Sedar Senghor International Poetry Prize.

This selection of poems, most of which translated into French by Raphaël BLANCHIER, graduate of ENS Ulm, INALCO, doctoral student at the Ecole pratique des Hautes Etudes, was sublimated thanks to the voice of Anne-Sylvie MEYZA, actress, screenwriter and director, with musical improvisations by Benjamin LAUBER and Jennifer HUTT, composers - musicians, and watercolors by Robert LOBET, painter and publisher of art books.

The evening transported the audience to the rhythm of horses, waterways and starry skies of Mongolia.
