H.E. Mr Claude Cottalorda at Permanent Council of La Francophonie

H.E. Mr Claude Cottalorda, the Principality of Monaco’s Ambassador to France, submitted to Ms Michaëlle Jean, Secretary General of the International Organisation of La Francophonie (IOF), his letter of nomination as the Personal Representative of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and the Prince’s Government to the Permanent Council of La Francophonie. The ceremony took place on Wednesday 2 September 2015 during a meeting at the headquarters of the IOF in Paris.

The Ambassador succeeds H.E. Ms Sophie Thévenoux in this role.

During their meeting, the Secretary General welcomed the excellent relationship between the IOF and the Principality, and the active role that Monaco plays within the organisation.

H.E. Mr Cottalorda will participate in the Ministerial Conference of La Francophonie from 9 to 11 October in Yerevan, Armenia.

The Principality of Monaco has been a member of the IOF since 1970
