On September 8th, 2016, the Ambassador participated in the unveiling ceremony of a French stamp commemorating the centenary of the birth of Léo Ferré.

In his intervention, the Ambassador recalled that on August 24th of the same year, the Principality had issued a stamp in homage to the singer-songwriter, also a pianist and a Monegasque poet.

Several members of the family of Léo Ferré were present at this event as well as the author of the stamp, Christian Guémy, alias C215, graph and stencil artist.

This anniversary stamp will be drawn at one million and twenty copies.
