Address to the Diplomatic Corps Accredited to Monaco

The traditional address to representatives of the Diplomatic Corps accredited to the Principality took place on Thursday 14 January 2016 at the Hôtel Peninsula in Paris.

Mr. Gilles Tonelli, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and His Excellency Mr. Claude Cottalorda welcomed more than sixty Ambassadors who are accredited to the Principality.

In his speech, after recalling the tragic events of last year, the Government Minister spoke of the intensive diplomatic and economic activity experienced by the Principality in 2015.

Mr. Tonelli also sent a message to H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince, emphasising the importance of the agreement made at the COP21, Monaco's continued discussions with the European Union and dialogue between the Principality and the international community.

Monaco currently enjoys diplomatic relations with 126 States throughout the world, and 106 Ambassadors are accredited to Monaco, of which 96 are in Paris.
