Marriage of Prince Leka II of Albania

On October 8th, 2016, the Ambassador and his wife went to Tirana, Albania, to attend the wedding ceremony of Prince Leka II, son of the King of Albania, and Elia Zaharia, an Albanian actress. More than twenty representatives of royal families attended the ceremony which took place within the walls of the Royal Palace.
In the evening, before the gala dinner that followed the ceremony, the Ambassador presented Prince Leka II with a gift from H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco.
