H.E. Mr Claude Cottalorda was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Principality of Monaco to France by Sovereign Ordinance no. 5270 of 30 March 2015.
H.E. Mr Claude Cottalorda submitted his credentials to the President of the French Republic on 6 July 2015.
He is the fifth Ambassador of Monaco to France since the diplomatic representation was elevated to the rank of an embassy in 1977.
H.E. Mr Claude Cottalorda is also the Personal Representative of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince and the Prince’s Government to the Permanent Council of La Francophonie, appointed by Sovereign Ordinance no. 5.375 of 2 July 2015.
H.E. Mr Cottalorda was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Principality of Andorra by Sovereign Ordinance no. 5419 of 15 July 2015.
He submitted his credentials to Mr. François Hollande, Co-Prince of Andorra, on 19 October 2015, and to His Grace Monsignor Joan-Enric Vives i Sicília, Bishop of Urgell and Episcopal Co-Prince of Andorra, on October 30th, 2015.
